Jodie Taylor has over 20 years of experience in a diverse range of roles within local government. In the role of General Manager (Community & Liveability), Jodie is responsible for driving positive change within the culture of Council, as well as setting the strategic framework for the growth of our region. At the helm of Council’s Community and Liveability Division, Jodie is responsible for driving economic resurgence of the Western Downs and delivering on the things that make a real difference to the liveability of our local communities. With a focus on creating local communities that are great places to live, work and play, Jodie leads Council’s Planning and Environment function, Economic Development and Tourism initiatives, Health Services, and a range of Community services, support and engagement activities to enhance the lifestyle and liveability of the Western Downs Region.
